Early Admission or Regular Admission?
Early Admission is for kindergarten families who identify PCS as their number one school choice and want to secure their spot. We will send acceptance letters for Early Admission starting in mid-November. Families who apply for Early Admission and are accepted will be responsible for a 10% deposit due two weeks after receiving the acceptance letter. Regular Admission is for all other families applying to PCS.
Application Checklist
Complete the admission application thoroughly and pay the processing fee. Parents must submit the following with every application:
Kindergarten to Second
Processing Fee – $65
Teacher Recommendation Form
Provide any Special Learning Tests, Records, Documents
Grades 1 & 2 – Transcript and/or Report Cards
Third and Up
Processing Fee – $130
Math and English Teacher Recommendation Forms
Grades 5 to 10 – Student Questionnaire
Writing Sample of Students Best Work
Provide any Special Learning Tests, Records, Documents
Transcript and/or Report Cards
Preparing for the Parent Partnership Meeting and Student Evaluation
- PCS will contact you to schedule your Parent Partnership Meeting and Student Evaluation.
- Bring your child’s birth certificate to the Parent Partnership Meeting.
- Only bring the child scheduled for the Student Evaluation.
- The Parent Partnership Meeting will last about 30 minutes.
- Kindergarten and 1st-grade applicants will spend 30 minutes with one of our teachers for their 1-on-1 evaluation and participate in a class with their peers.
- Applicants for 2nd grade and up will be invited to join their respective classes for a day. During this visit, the applicant will receive a grade-appropriate evaluation or exam. Applicants entering 5th grade or higher will also interview with the Head of School.
